Follow us on LinkedIn ? Medicated skin care products connote a very high-perceived value in consumer mindsets, owing to their abilities of enhancing visual appeal of skin that suits the consumers? varied lifestyle requirements. Consumers are increasingly wooed by the functionality of these products in effectively managing their beauty and skin care needs without adversely impacting their skin health in different work and leisure milieus. The products are riding high on this note, with consumers becoming unmindful of their higher prices, and manufacturers making every effort to delight consumers with enhanced value for their money. Thus, product premiumization is set to be the platform for the market?s future growth. Globally, within the broader spectrum of general skin care products, the market for medicated skin care products has attracted significant interest in recent years. With focus pitched on maintaining the healthy and youthful appearance of skin, the rising impetus for preventive skin care is driving the personal grooming market, leading to soaring discretionary spends of youngsters. Further, innovation, product expansion, and celebrity endorsement are set to pep up the ever young appeal of the market, together with a host of new product launches.
While acne bogs down the teen beauty, pre-mature aging bothers the twenty-some things. Four-fifths of the world?s teen populace is victim to acne and is relying heavily on medicated creams that cleanse the skin blemish-free from acne and prevent recurrence, spelling untold opportunity for medicated skin care products. On the other hand, new rollouts claiming to offer effective skin care, prevent onset of ageing, renew cells through improved cell physiology and quick replenishment of vitamins, and delay cell senescence and formation of wrinkles will be the ultimate winners. Increasingly therefore, the focus of the market is witnessing a shift from traditional anti-aging products that fix aging symptoms after they have appeared, towards effective skin care products, with youngsters betting high on these products to accomplish holistic skin care from an early age. The trend spells bountiful prospects for the newer ingredient actives incorporated in such products.
Of late, skincare has emerged into an undeniable lifestyle requirement and workplace competence quotient, thus, burgeoning the overall spend on personal grooming, especially in the mature economies, where service industry is thriving. The arena of beautification that once remained the sole terrain of pretty women is now set to change with equal numbers of men sporting a penchant for cool and beautiful look, thanks to the ultra modern lifestyles and urban attitudes. Further, rising accessibility through expanded sales channels and increasing affordability owing to mass marketing are propping the sales of male skincare products. With increasing number of men pampering their skin with a major share of their big bucks, male-oriented skincare products, especially, easy-to-use combo products that offer cleansing, moisturizing, exfoliation, and after-shave in one single formulation, are witnessing rapid spurt in sales.
With concerns for effective skincare mounting, the US remains the most active market for skincare products, irrespective of the category United States represents the largest regional market for medicated skin care products worldwide, as stated by the new market research report on Medicated Skin Care Products. Anti-aging skincare products lead the pack, both by volumes and growth impetus, powered by the spending arsenal of baby boomers, quickly ageing now. Their beauty penchant is set to drive sales of everyday skincare products such as body lotions, cleansers, hand lotions, as well as combo-functional products, cosmeceuticals, and organic or all-natural products. Asia-Pacific with its huge population base, rising disposable incomes and evolving markets of India, China, Australia, Malaysia and Thailand among others, offers tremendous untapped potential. The Asian market is set to forge ahead at the strongest CAGR of about 6% over the analysis period.
Major players profiled in the report include Allergan Inc., avVaa World Health Care Products, Blistex Inc., Chattem Inc., ConvaTec, Galderma Pharma SA, Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co., Neutrogena Corp., Novartis AG, Obagi Medical Products Inc., Procter & Gamble Company, Reckitt Benckiser Plc., Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Shiseido Co., Ltd., Stiefel Laboratories Inc., Unilever NV, and Wyeth Corp.

More details:
This workshop will cover these topics: I'll cover the state of the industry right now. Why to specialize, alternatives to specializing (i.e. being a generalist. If you hurt your knee, you'd go to a knee specialist over a general doctor, right? You'd also expect him to charge you a premium. You are either a specialist or a generalist, you'll find out exactly what you are and what you can do to either change it, or play the game at a higher level (more peace, clarity, profit & purpose). We'll review some case study examples to make this crystal clear. Setting the right goals, and creating strategies and tactics to achieve them. This makes saying "no" easy and not stressful. Whatever tasks or opportunities you say yes to, will clearly move you closer to your goal and farther away from uncertainty and fear.
We'll also talk about being a performance artist vs. a product artist. Finally we will cover socratic selling, how to sell your specialization. Even if you don't have a niche, I'll show you how you can leverage yourself in your business more so than your images. We'll discuss how you can lead the sales consultations by getting them to share what they are passionate about within the first minute of the chat. That way you can decipher if they are a good fit for you. We will wrap up with Character Marketing, and how to use your personality to grow who you are as a businessperson.

Transit, Such Gold with Daytrader, Think Big

Supporting Acts: Daytrader, Think Big
Transit
"I know you're good at keeping secrets. Well I'm better at wearing them out for the world to see." "Music is about connecting with people, and that's what we focus on more than anything else," says Transit's vocalist Joe Boynton. Hailing from north shore Boston, Transit is a band that expresses an arresting degree of honesty and individuality in their music. While clearly drawing inspiration from seminal groups such as Saves The Day, as well as the Northeast US pop-punk scenes that all five members grew up in, Transit has swiftly evolved into a group with a more alternative, indie rock sound. "We all grew up listening to a wide variety of music, but bands like Archers of Loaf, Braid, Osker and American Football demonstrated to us that there are always refreshing ways to create a new style and feel," explains guitarist Tim Landers. Illustrating Transit's artistic evolution from one release to the next, early descriptions of the group compared them to Taking Back Sunday and Brand New, and now, more recently, to bands like Death Cab For Cutie and Modest Mouse. The band's prolific output is also impressive by any measure, having put out seven releases over the last four years. Transit's highly acclaimed LP, "Keep This To Yourself", released in August 2010 on Run For Cover Records, inspired ABSOLUTEPUNK to rave: "Good luck keeping Transit's passionate and infectious tunes a secret. Once you hear the first chords of opener "Dear Anyone," you'll immediately go out and tell all your friends about the best pop-punk album of 2010." Transit also released an acoustic EP, "Something Left Behind" in February and a limited edition Record Store Day 7", "Promise Nothing", was released this past spring and sold out in advance. ALTERNATIVE PRESS, in a glowing review of "Promise Nothing", praised the band's meteoric creative growth, comparing them to Jimmy Eat World and Moneen. Named one of the "Bands To Watch in 2011" by ALTERNATIVE PRESS, Transit has played throughout North America and overseas alongside Four Year Strong, The Wonder Years, Less Than Jake, Bayside, Man Overboard, Senses Fail and many others. The band-whose members also include Torre Cioffi (guitars), PJ Jefferson (bass) and Daniel Frazier (drums)-has just finished tracking its first full-length on Rise Records, LISTEN & FORGIVE. The album, which ALTERNATIVE PRESS just named as one of the "Top 20 Must-Hear Fall 2011 Releases", is set to drop in the US and around the world in early October. To mark the release of LISTEN & FORGIVE, Transit will be touring this Fall around the US with Saves The Day, Bayside and I Am The Avalanche, before heading to the UK and Europe in December with Title Fight and Balance and Composure. From that point onwards, fans can expect to see the band touring extensively around the globe throughout 2012 and beyond.

Hendersonvill, TN (PRWEB) April 28, 2012
Brian D. Starr has written a work that is very appealing to those students or scholars of genealogies that date back to the Bible. In Knights, Romans, Greeks and God the bloodlines of the Christian world are explored as well as the interrelationships that date back to the Egyptians. Most Christians would consider the topic important because written history has been so hard to preserve, gather and collate. Sources have not been reliable and families who have authentic documents have not been forthcoming in volunteering information because Christianity has been too mired in violent struggles and what the author calls ?other factors.?
The Bible, first, last, and always is the source of all knowledge and wisdom for Christian people for the axial age ? the age when various (and contending) world religions rose out of pre-history. Foremost among these religions is Judaism (arguably the first religion to worship one God). Starr?s work explores elements in Judaism such as the lineage of the Kings of Judah, Mary Magdalene?s descendants and such and has traced lineages right into the middle ages (when records were more reliable and families can trust to trace their roots with more accuracy).
The revenants of the Western world?s founding families have had much scholarship dedicated to it. The forces of history have not been kind to those who have claims to being principals and Starr takes careful note that whatever secrets he has divulged in this work are those which have had supporting documentation in other author?s works. The author?s thesis, though, is original and should be acknowledged by the academe as a source book.
This book will be featured at the 2012 Bologna Book Fair in Bologna, Italy, on March 19-22, 2012 and the 2012 Taipei International Book Exhibition in Taipei, Taiwan on February 1-6, 2012.
