After researching several different diet plans to try, I came across this inexpensive book on the hCG diet that helped me to make up my mind. Unlike the diet plans you see on tv, where you have to purchase the pre-made foods, this diet uses a natural hormone to help you lose weight.

I have tried nutra system and had great luck, losing over 65 pounds, but once you stop purchasing the food, you end up going back to the portions of food you were eating before and slowly gain the weight back.

With the hCG diet, the drops, pills or injections of the hCG hormone you take actually resets your metabolism.

The books gives you a detailed explanation on exactly how the hormone works to help you lose weight. Since you will only be eating 500 calories a day at first, the book gives you many suggestions on the food to eat and seasonings to use to get the most out of those 500 calories.

The book also covers where to purchase the hCg hormone, foods that are allowed and not allowed on the diet and why.

After reading the book I feel that the hCG diet gives me the best chance to lose the weight I need to lose and keep it off. I highly recommend this book to anyone considering the hCg diet plan as an option. It is not a sales pitch but a straight to the point guide on everything you need to know about the hCg diet.

This is a complete waste of money and time– even for $3.99. I should have known better, given that there are so few reviews. These are written by friends and accomplices . Don’t make the same mistake I did! I also bought “HCG Diet Made Simple” which is well researched, loaded with links, and provides real information to supplement “Pounds and Inches”.

I am a bit embarrassed to admit that I have been on every diet under the sun. The ups and downs of weight loss and weight gain are something I have lived with for most of my adult life. So far, however, this diet has helped me lose more weight than I have ever lost before, 18 pound and I have been able to keep it off for over 15 weeks. This is a record for me.

They say that if you can do anything for 4 weeks it will become a habit and you will continue this habit. I feel confident that I can continue to lose weight with this HCG supplement help.

The HCG that you take as an injections or as a pill is what makes this diet work. You need to read this book to learn why it works. The science is interesting and this author does not bore you with all the real scientific stuff and just explains clearly how best to adjust your diet to make the most out of this diet.

The book explains everything including how to go about finding a place to get the HCG. It also gives enough specifics regarding the ins and outs of this diet to help people decide if the HCG will be right for them.
